Signa Aviation Services

Signa Aviation Services is an approved aviation training organisation (ATO) at Eros Airport in Windhoek, Namibia. It trains pilots, aircraft maintenance engineers and cabin crew, and offers class and type ratings for operators in Namibia and other African countries. The company was founded by Francois Hugo, who is its managing director.

Training courses

• Private Pilot Licence (PPL), full-time or part-time, no prior experience needed
• Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL), covering flight planning, instrument flying and multi-engine operations
• Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) for pilots with 1,500 hours
• Aircraft maintenance engineer training, with hands-on apprenticeship through Westair Maintenance
• Cabin crew training covering safety procedures, first aid, dangerous goods, firefighting, evacuation and customer service
• Class and type ratings
• Drone training (listed as coming soon)

Aircraft type ratings

Type ratings are offered from the Sling 4 up to the ERJ 145, including the Cessna 208, Quest Kodiak, Reims F406, Cessna 425, King Air B350, Beechcraft 1900, Embraer ERJ 135 and ERJ 145.
