About Seaborne Airlines

Seaborne Airlines is a seaplane airline. It flies between St. Croix and St. Thomas in the United States Virgin Islands. The office address on the site is 1413 Avenida Ponce de León in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The company began in 1992 with sightseeing tours over Alaska's Misty Fjords. A year later it added tours in the Virgin Islands. After that, it began scheduled seaplane flights between St. Croix and St. Thomas. The site says it became one of the fastest growing airlines in the Caribbean in 2013.

In 2017, hurricanes Irma and Maria devastated the network. Seaborne later filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. The airport network was merged with Silver Airways, while the seaplane operation kept the Seaborne name. In 2025, Silver Airways ceased operations.

Seaborne now runs under new ownership. The site says the main focus is rebuilding the seaplane service between St. Croix and St. Thomas. The fleet is supported by Seaborne's own maintenance team, based at the maintenance facility in St. Croix.

The site says the airline has a strong safety record. Its stated focus is safety, customer service and on-time performance. The site has pages on check-in times, flight delays, baggage policy, pets, a corporate frequent travel program and a FastPak Freight service.

The site lists the phone number 1-855-744-9595 and has a contact page, a newsroom and a corporate login. It also has a careers page for current job openings.
