Saf-Air Products

Saf-Air Products is a manufacturer of aircraft fuel and oil drain valves in Garden City, Michigan. Established in 1959, it makes FAA approved valves for the general aviation market and sells through distributors worldwide; it also works with original equipment manufacturers that fit its valves on new aircraft, and its engineers design custom valves for specific applications.

• Push type fuel drain valves in brass and stainless steel, the latter for salt water and agricultural operators
• Lock-open, flush and specialty fuel drain valves, and a bladder tank system
• Oil drain valves: lock-open and two-piece designs under a US patent granted in 1995, covering most aviation engines
• AN adapters, banjo bolt adapters for Rotax, Volkswagen, Continental and Jabiru engines, and an oil drain adapter for Rotax engines built after 2014
• Replacement Viton O-ring kits, so many valves can be rebuilt rather than replaced

Recent additions listed on the site include the 75B fuel drain for Beechcraft, the SA5020 drain approved for Fairchild Metro aircraft and the CAV-M165 drain for the Socata TB20. A cross reference and an approvals list are published on the site, and prices are through distributors.
