Rushlift GSE

Rushlift GSE rents and leases ground support equipment (GSE) to airlines, ground handlers and other aviation customers in the UK. Its headquarters and main workshop are at London Heathrow, with a second operation at London Gatwick. The company says it was an engineering and maintenance business before it began supplying GSE.

Hire and leasing

• Short-term hire for a few weeks or months, for example to cover seasonal demand
• Long-term contract hire and lease purchase with finance packages
• Equipment for sale, including used units
• Electric and hybrid GSE as part of its fleet

Its hire fleet includes cargo loaders, baggage tractors, ground power units, passenger boarding stairs, aircraft towbars, baggage and cargo dollies and trailers, and pushback tractors. Equipment is also listed for aircraft cleaning, aircraft maintenance and hangar operations.

Maintenance and support

The company says more than 75 engineers maintain over 6,000 pieces of equipment from airside and landside workshops at Heathrow and Gatwick, working 365 days a year with a 15 minute response target. Contract hire customers get access to a web-based fleet management system to monitor performance and utilisation. Other services include airside support, GSE parts, refurbishment and fleet management.
