Range Helicopters Inc.

Range Helicopters Inc. (RH) is a Transport Canada approved air operator and aircraft maintenance organization with bases in Drayton Valley and Edson, Alberta. The site, which describes the company as part of the Hayduk group, says it provides chartered services for passengers and cargo to private sector companies and government agencies throughout Canada.

Fleet

• Bell 206B JetRanger: light single engine helicopter, 4 passengers, 3,200 lbs internal and 3,350 lbs external gross weight
• AS350 B3e (Astar), dual hydraulic: single engine, 5 passengers, 5,225 lbs internal and 6,172 lbs external gross weight
• Bell 212HP: twin engine, 13 passengers (11 with auxiliary fuel tank), 11,200 lbs gross weight, with BLR fast fin and strake kits

Aircraft can arrive with satellite tracking, a portable 24 volt fuel system, single or dual remote hooks, a Bambi Bucket, sling gear and an approved stretcher kit. All aircraft have satellite tracking and satellite phones.

Safety

RH has a fully integrated Safety Management System and states it holds a Certificate of Recognition (COR) and has green status with ISNetworld, ComplyWorks, the Canadian Transportation Agency and Transport Canada.
