Quantaero

Quantaero is an aerial intelligence company based in Reno, Nevada. It works with remote sensing data, aerial imagery and data processing. The company works with partners on manned and unmanned aircraft.

The company says it provides research and development, engineering and systems integration support for new or existing sensor platforms. Its work covers both manned and unmanned airborne platforms.

The site lists three main areas. These are airborne mapping solutions, spatial data archival and management, and machine learning. Its products include the Aware data acquisition product and the Aware image manager.

The site says collecting aerial data from manned aircraft carries risk for crews on long, low missions. It says drones can improve safety and cost, but they face limits on payload size, weight and rules for large-scale surveys.

The company's stated work includes wildlife population surveys, land use assessments and disaster monitoring. The site gives an example of a government organization that measures wildlife populations. Another example covers land use classification with automated image analysis.

The site says the company can help organizations cut time spent in flight and at the desk. It says machine intelligence can filter large volumes of imagery. The site describes secure data sharing across departments and organizations.
