Qref

Qref (Qref Quick Reference Checklists) is an aviation checklist publisher based in Frisco, Texas. The company was formed in 2008 by publisher Jason Clemens, who had been writing checklists since 1998 for his earlier company SureCheck Aviation. Qref sells its checklists direct from its website and, according to the site, through a network of more than 200 pilot supply shops, FBOs, avionics companies and flight training facilities worldwide.

Products

The catalogue is organised by aircraft make: Beech, Cessna, Cirrus, Diamond, Mooney, Piper, Socata and Pilatus, plus checklists for GPS units, glass cockpits and portable avionics. Each aircraft checklist comes in two formats:

• Multi-page Qref Checklist: a spiral bound book with tabbed sections for normal and emergency procedures, V-speeds and performance references.
• Qref Checklist Card: a laminated card version covering normal and emergency procedures.

The site says the checklists were developed by a staff of Master CFIs with over 40 years of combined industry experience, and that they are written to promote industry best practice through every phase of flight. Avionics quick reference guides cover Garmin, Avidyne and other glass cockpit and portable GPS products.

Cirrus SR20 and SR22 checklists

Qref keeps a dedicated Cirrus catalogue at qref.com/cirrus with 20 products at the time of writing, covering each SR20 and SR22 generation and panel type:

• SR20: Analog Cockpit, G1-G2, G3 and Perspective versions.
• SR22: G1-G2, G3 and Perspective versions, each also available as a Turbo variant.

Published prices on that page (October 2026) are US$12.95 for each Cirrus Qref Checklist Card and US$29.95 for each multi-page Cirrus Qref Checklist. The site also has separate SR20 and SR22 category pages.

Each Cirrus product page shows the cover of the checklist for that generation, and the multi-page books use the same tabbed layout as the rest of the Qref range, so a pilot who moves between a G3 and a Perspective aircraft gets a familiar format in both.
