Qatar Aviation Services

Qatar Aviation Services (QAS) is a ground handling organization headquartered at Hamad International Airport in Doha, the hub of Qatar Airways. Founded in 2000, it began at Doha International Airport and is the exclusive provider of ground handling for international airport operations in Qatar. Its customers include international airlines, Heads of State and VVIPs, private fleets, executive charter flights and cargo operators.

Services

• Aircraft handling: loading and offloading, turnaround coordination, airside transportation and ground support equipment
• Passenger handling: check-in and boarding, transfers and arrivals, passengers with reduced mobility, lost and found
• Baggage operation, cabin appearance and engineering and workshop services
• Centralized load control for the Qatar Airways network and local load control for other airlines
• Premium, general aviation and ad hoc handling for private, charter and VVIP flights, including flights from the Qatar Amiri Terminal
• Lounges, VIP meet and assist and QAS Travel and Tours

Cargo

QAS Cargo serves 34 passenger and cargo airlines and handles more than 1.8 million tonnes a year. Services include import, export and transfer cargo, ULD storage, special cargo and a 24/7 cool chain team for perishables and pharmaceuticals.
