Par Avion

Par Avion is a Tasmanian air tour and charter operator based at Hobart/Cambridge Aerodrome, east of Hobart. Founded in 1978, it operated for more than three decades as a transport airline in Tasmania and now focuses on scenic tours, wilderness experiences, bushwalker flights and charter. Its flights reach remote parts of the state, including the Southwest National Park.

Aircraft and engineering

Par Avion's aircraft are maintained by its own engineering team and equipped for flight in variable Tasmanian conditions. Interiors are set up for passenger comfort and visibility on scenic routes.

Hobart/Cambridge Aerodrome

The aerodrome (YCBG) is an Authorised Landing Area open to aircraft under 5,700 kg MTOW. It has two lit runways: 12/30 is the primary runway, and 09/27 is used for helicopter operations and for fixed wing when operationally required. Night use requires approval from the aerodrome operator.
