ORIX Aviation

ORIX Aviation is an aircraft leasing and asset management company. It was established in Ireland in 1991 and is part of the ORIX Group. The company says it has delivered in excess of US$50 billion in transactions since it started.

The company is a global operating lessor in its own right, with a fleet of over 250 aircraft. The fleet page lists 62 A320ceo family aircraft, 53 A320neo family aircraft, 60 737NG family aircraft, 37 737 MAX family aircraft, 18 Boeing 787s, 9 A330s, 5 Boeing 777-300ERs and 3 A350-900s.

ORIX Aviation also owns 30 percent of Avolon, which the company describes as a top three lessor. Its business model has four pillars: its owned aircraft, joint ventures, asset management services, and ORIX Aviation Capital for strategic aviation investments.

The asset management services include Japanese operating leases, managed aircraft and bespoke remarketing solutions. The company says it has a best in class asset management reputation and attracts international and domestic Japanese investors.

In September 2024 the company's lease servicing was reaffirmed with an S&P ranking of Strong with a Stable Outlook, which the company says is the highest ranking available. The company obtained the ranking to validate its lease servicing capabilities from an outside source.

The company has offices in Dublin, Dubai and Tokyo. It also publishes a gender pay gap report and a code of conduct. The Dubai office is run by ORIX Aviation Management ME Ltd, and the Tokyo contact is ORIX Corporation.
