Ontario Aerospace Council

The Ontario Aerospace Council, known as OAC, is a not-for-profit association for the aerospace industry in Ontario, Canada. It has about 200 member companies.

Its members make up more than 70 percent of the aerospace jobs in Ontario. They come from all tiers of the supply chain and from companies of every size. Members also include related groups such as colleges and universities.

The council aims to raise the profile of Ontario's aerospace strengths in world markets. It brings together industry, schools, researchers, governments and other associations. These groups share information with each other, and the council helps them find and use funding. It also works to help the industry grow.

OAC plans and runs programmes for its members. The programmes cover technology development and adoption, business development and market access. They also cover supply chain resilience, workforce skills and workplace training.

The council took part in Ontario's presence at the Paris Air Show from 16 to 19 June 2025. Ten Ontario organisations joined the group. They included the Downsview Aerospace Innovation and Research consortium, Firan Technology Group, Horizon Aircraft, Langtry Blast Technologies, Letar, Malleum, MDS, Shimco and Velatron Technologies.
