Neutralino Space Ventures

Neutralino Space Ventures is a space hardware company. It makes integrated satellite solutions, including SpaceVPX platforms and advanced imaging cameras. The site says the products are designed for remote sensing and on-orbit computing.

The site lists a SpaceVPX camera, an ISS Surveyor instrument and a SpaceVPX chassis. The chassis listed is the NSV-1324. It has six modules and is designed for space flight. It can include one or two VITA 62 compatible power module slots.

The ISS Surveyor images the night sky. The site says it uses a 1,076 megapixel wide field mosaic camera. It also uses a multi teraflop computing cluster and on-orbit algorithms. The site says this allows real time data analysis.

The NSV-455 is a 61 megapixel camera. The site says it uses a Sony IMX455 sensor and a GMSL3 interface. It runs at 4.0 frames per second in 16 bit mode. Smaller captures can run up to 100 frames per second.

The site says Dr. Sam Waldman founded the SpaceX team that built sensors for Dragon and Falcon 9. Those sensors included lidar for docking with the International Space Station. Jeff Rothermel is co-founder and chief engineer. The site says he led satellite laser communications work at SpaceX.

The company runs a remote observatory called Neutralino North, or the Ranch. The site says it is in the southern Sierra Nevada mountains. The company tests technology there by simulating ground operated space missions. Data goes to a conference room in El Segundo.

The site lists Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube accounts. It also has press releases, a news page and a contact page for mission talks. The site says the company follows rapid design, continuous development and comprehensive testing.
