Nassau Flyers is a Cirrus flight school, aircraft management company and Cirrus Authorized Service Center at Republic Airport (KFRG) in Farmingdale, New York, on Long Island. The company has offered aviation services for over 40 years and is a Cirrus Platinum Training Center and Platinum partner for New York City and Long Island.

Services

The service center works only on Cirrus aircraft, the SR series and the SF50 Vision Jet, from a dedicated hangar at Republic Airport. Its technicians are factory trained and use Cirrus approved repair methods and tools. Nassau Flyers maintains its own fleet of more than 15 Cirrus aircraft and says it keeps the largest in-stock selection of Cirrus parts on the East Coast.

Flight training

Training runs from discovery flights through private pilot, instrument, commercial and CFII, plus Cirrus transition training using Cirrus Embark and the Cirrus Approach online system. The rental and training fleet is made up of Generation 6 and Generation 7 Cirrus SR20 and SR22 aircraft, and the school uses AATD flight simulation and offers virtual ground school. For the Vision Jet it offers jet readiness courses, type rating preparation, instrument proficiency checks and recurrent training.
