About Mechano-deen

Mechano-Deen Ltd. is a contract machining company in Israel. It makes precise metal parts for aerospace and commercial customers. The firm is privately owned and family run.

The company began in 1960 in rented space with manually run milling and turning machines. It was started by Uri Tagger. His son Avi Tagger is now the president and chief executive, and the site says a third generation is joining the business. Today the company works from a modern, air-conditioned plant of 2,500 square meters. The site says it is one of the larger private employers in Israel.

The plant runs highly automated machines that are scheduled around the clock. Its tools include 5-axis CNC machining centers and CNC mill-turn centers. It has a large in-house tooling shop. All work is managed on SAP ERP software.

Mechano-Deen serves aerospace and aviation, medical equipment, and other high technology industries. It makes precision aircraft components for air data, flight data, engine data, airframe, interior and cargo uses. It also makes parts for medical infusion devices and testing instruments, and for industrial and process control equipment in oil and gas and heavy equipment.

The firm gives each client one salesperson who tracks production and stock. It uses Kanban and minimum and maximum stock systems to keep product levels steady. Its engineers use CAD and CAM tools to help with design and cost reduction. It also builds prototypes and moves them on to production. The site has a contact form and phone numbers in Israel.
