More than just company that designs and manufactures electric tug solutions-passionate team driven by shared commitment to innovation, safety, and excellence.
As global leader in industry believing in moving businesses forward by providing reliable, efficient, and sustainable load-moving solutions.
Strength lies not only in cutting-edge technology but in people behind it.
Brand Promise: Engineered Innovation. Performance Guaranteed.
Vision: Known for quality, innovation and service, MasterMover will be partner of choice for material handling solutions worldwide.
Mission: To help organisations worldwide empower and protect their people with right solutions to move products, equipment and materials safely and efficiently.
1997: Late founder Andrew Jones noticed difficulties supermarkets having moving heavy roll cages from storage to shop floor and knew there had to be better way. Andrew came from background in retail and textiles but was always innovator at heart. Started with single machine initially designed for moving caravans and small goods but recognised broader potential-safer, more efficient way to transport all kinds of wheeled loads.
As supermarkets began investing in large out-of-town stores, electric tugs became answer allowing store teams to easily move multiple roll cages at time, revolutionising replenishment processes.
2007: Andy Owen became Managing Director. Confident that electric tug solutions were exportable and provided benefits to diverse range of sectors, MasterMover team entered new period of growth. From 2007 onwards with clear marketing strategy in place, business became increasingly proactive in overseas markets.
Export Excellence: Beginning with phased roll out to Europe and in response to rising demand, company’s global management team and sales partner network went from strength to strength. Under leadership of Andy Owen embarked on ambitious global expansion opening subsidiary offices in Germany, North America, and France.
Power in Partnership: Continued growth plan focused on building network of global partners. From Spain to Korea built network of distributors and partners that share core values of safety, efficiency, and innovation.
2016: Original founder’s son James Jones joined business as Partner leading bespoke project-managed solutions, engineering, finance and operations.
Partners Andy Owen and James Jones continue to drive company forward with creativity, collaboration, and same determination at core of business since founding over two decades ago.
2005: Whilst Andrew Jones sadly passed away in 2005, his influence can be felt in every breakthrough solution. Same customer-centric focus and industry expertise that guided his work remain guiding principles that propel MasterMover forward.
Today: From humble beginnings MasterMover has grown into global brand trusted by leading companies across over 40 countries. Yet at core of growth is same spirit of innovation and collaboration that started it all.
Proudly British Built: Reputation for innovation, engineering excellence, and unwavering customer focus made global leader in material handling. Whilst journey taken across world proudly still based in Ashbourne, Derbyshire where retained full inhouse design and manufacturing operation-which requires ever-expanding headquarters.
