Luxair Aviation LLC

Luxair Aviation LLC is the fixed base operator at Marion Airport in Marion, Iowa. The company's address is 1690 Marion Airport Road. The site says it is the point of contact for aircraft services, fuel sales, hangar rentals and the care and development of the airport. The phone number is 319-377-1111.

Luxair Aviation bought the Marion Airport in June 2015 with the City of Marion. In early 2025 the city said it no longer wanted to run an airport. In July 2025 the city sold its share to 530 Investments. Luxair still owns all other airport property. The site says Luxair and 530 Investments aim to keep the small airport setting.

Services include fuel and servicing, aircraft maintenance and hangar rentals. The site lists T-hangar and private hangar spots for rent. A 65 by 75 foot heated hangar building with water was set to open on September 1, 2026. It has a front row location near the newest taxiway.

Runway 17/35 was widened from 23 feet to 60 feet in 2020. The airport added new edge lights and improved turnarounds. The site says many other improvements have been made since.

The site thanks the businesses on the field for pilot training, charter flights, aircraft maintenance, agricultural support and medical response support. It says the airport offers a place for aviation enthusiasts of all ages to pursue careers in aviation.

The site asks hobbyist drone pilots to notify airports within 5 miles of where they fly. A form on the site sends that notice to the Marion Airport. The site has a contact page and a Facebook page.
