Lusso Jet Design

Lusso Jet Design is a Mexican company that renovates the interiors of private jets. It is part of the Fly Business family and operates under the rules of the AFAC, Mexico's federal civil aviation agency. The company grew out of an observation at Fly Business that dated interiors leave a lasting impression and affect both comfort and resale value of an aircraft. Its stated mission is to give new life to every aircraft it touches.

Design approach

The company turns worn and dated cabins into fresh spaces with a Mediterranean inspired, contemporary look. An in-house team of interior designers interviews the customer and prepares design proposals that set out materials and the reasoning behind each choice. Once a proposal is chosen, the company manages every part of the project.

• Seats and upholstery in leather and aviation grade materials, including custom seats and divans, new seat shapes, and recovering of headliners, sidewalls and window panels
• Hand made, button pattern aviation carpets in a range of colors
• LED lighting throughout the cabin and power outlets
• New curtains, shades, seat belts, galley and lavatory fittings, and re-plating or replacement of metal parts
• Cabinet refinishing, surface coverings, drawer inserts and organizers, including changes to suit new galley appliances
• Cabin protection, such as seat covers, handrail covers, protective pads for credenzas and tables, and maintenance covers
