JAE

JAE, short for Japan Aviation Electronics Industry, Ltd., is a Japanese maker of electronic components. Its main products are electrical connectors, user interface solutions, motion sensors and antennas. It sells to makers of factory equipment, vehicles, wearable devices and other electronic products.

Connectors are a core product line. JAE lists input and output connectors, board-to-board connectors, board-to-FPC and FFC connectors, board-to-cable connectors, circular and rectangular connectors, fiber optic connectors, coaxial connectors and cable-to-cable connectors. It also makes memory card connectors, memory module connectors and high-current connectors. Buyers can search by product type or by industry and use.

Recent featured items show where the company is focused. It offers a single-pair Ethernet connector for smart factories and rugged products that need no soldering and are easy to repair. It offers a compact 1,000 volt automotive connector for battery management systems. It also offers connectors for automatic charging of autonomous mobile robots. JAE also makes antennas. Its AN01 series comes in automotive and general-purpose grades for major unlicensed frequency bands. With a frequency adjustment pattern added on the board, the same antennas can support the 1.9 GHz and 3.3 to 3.8 GHz bands for private LTE and the 4.6 to 4.9 GHz bands for local 5G. Other lines include the AN02 series and the AP01 and AP02 series of PCB and FPC antennas, and the WaveConnect range. The company offers its information in English, Japanese, Chinese and German.
