About Israel Space Forum
The Israel Space Forum is a network that connects the Israeli space community. It brings together space companies, researchers, government bodies, private industry and entrepreneurs. Its aim is to build a strong space ecosystem in Israel and to help Israeli firms work with partners at home and abroad.
The forum is a joint effort. It was founded by the Rakia Mission and the Israel Space Agency, which sits within the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology. Through its programmes, the forum works to grow Israel's space skills, support new ideas and encourage global teamwork.
The forum describes a clear vision. It wants Israel to play a key role in space technology and exploration. It also wants to place Israel as a strong player in the global NewSpace economy. It plans to do this by supporting the growth of Israeli space companies and by inspiring the next generation of entrepreneurs and researchers. Its network of space professionals, enthusiasts and researchers is meant to share knowledge and move the local ecosystem forward.
One of its main projects is a map of the Israeli space industry. The Israel Space Ecosystem Mapping 2026 catalogue lists companies and organisations and sorts them into groups. These include upstream and in-space work, downstream applications, ecosystem services, and research and development. The forum reports about 90 companies and organisations active in the ecosystem. It says 41 percent work upstream and 30 percent work in downstream and in-space applications. The forum also publishes a yearly Israel Space Tech Report, with editions for 2025 and 2026.
The forum helps Israeli companies show their work abroad. It organises Israeli delegations to international events. These include the International Astronautical Congress in 2024 and Space Tech Expo Europe in 2026, where it presents the companies, technologies and people of the Israeli space ecosystem.
Companies and organisations can join as members. The forum asks its community which activities it should put first. The options include international conferences, pitching chances abroad, information webinars, business meetings with companies, access to investment networks, grant opportunities and networking events.
