About Into The Blue

Into The Blue sells experience days and gift vouchers in the United Kingdom. The business says it has been helping people create memories since 1996. Its roots are linked to Biggin Hill, and the idea was inspired by the Biggin Hill Air Fair. The legal name on the site is Activity Gift Vouchers Ltd, trading as Into The Blue.

Today the company lists more than 4,000 experiences from a network of hundreds of UK suppliers. The groups on the site include flying, driving, adventure, days out, food and drink, spa and beauty, water, creative days and short breaks. Customers can buy a voucher for a birthday, an anniversary or any other reason.

Flying is one part of the range. The home page lists 60 minute flying lessons at more than 25 flying schools across the country, where the customer takes the controls of a plane. It also lists an indoor skydiving experience at five venues, and a tank experience at the Gatwick Aviation Museum in West Sussex. Most of the range is not about aviation, so the company is only loosely linked to the industry.

In November 2025 the business was bought by Tom Redpath, Dan Mountain and Smartbox Group. The site says the people first culture and the supplier relationships stay the same, and that the focus is on widening the range and improving service.

Customer details are clear on the site. Vouchers come as instant e voucher or by same day dispatch, with a choice of packaging. They stay valid for 12 months and can be exchanged within 365 days. The company has live chat, a phone line for customer service on weekdays and an online contact form. A supplier portal and an affiliate page are also linked.
