International Aero Training Academy

International Aero Training Academy (IATAC) is a flight training school in Batu Berendam, Melaka, Malaysia, operating since 2006. It trains student pilots for airline careers, with ground school and flight training on the same residential campus. Its programmes follow Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) and ICAO standards, and its training is developed with input from airlines including Malaysia Airlines and AirAsia.

Courses

• Commercial Pilot Licence and Instrument Rating (CPL/IR) with frozen ATPL, including 800 hours of ground school
• Premium Private Pilot Licence (PPL)
• Abridge course
• Assistant Flight Instructor course
• Bachelor of Aviation combined with CPL/IR and frozen ATPL

Training fleet

• 7 Piper PA-28 for primary training
• 6 Diamond DA-40 NG
• 4 Diamond DA-42 NG twins for multi-engine and instrument training
• 3 flight simulators

Campus

The campus has its own hangar for maintenance support, six classrooms, an exam hall, a radio-telephony audio room, a cafeteria serving five meals a day, a gym, laundry and student accommodation.
