About Admal Aviation College

Admal Aviation College is a private aviation school in Malaysia. It was set up in 2011. It trains students in aviation maintenance engineering and also teaches flying. The college says its aim is to give students both the knowledge and the hands-on skills they need for the industry.

The college offers diploma programs. These include a Diploma in Aviation Management and a Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Technology. Other courses lead to a licensed aircraft engineer path under CAAM Part 66, the rules of the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia. They include a Category A1 license course, a B1.1 aeroplane turbine course and a B2 avionics course. Avionics means the electronic systems on an aircraft.

Pilots can train for the Commercial Pilot License. The college also runs skills programs and certificates. These cover cabin crew and airline services, aircraft manufacturing technician work and aircraft ground handling technician work. Graduates of the maintenance courses receive a Basic License from CAAM Malaysia. They can then work toward type approval on different aircraft types.

Admal says it is the only CAAM Part 147 approved training organisation that also has its own Part 145 approved maintenance organisation. Part 147 covers training schools. Part 145 covers repair stations. The college also owns a fleet of aircraft. It works under rules from the Ministry of Higher Education and the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia.

The courses are open to school leavers, mature students, aviation staff and companies that want to train their teams. The college says its fees are among the most reasonable in the region. It also arranges on-the-job training with industry partners for its students.

There is also a youth program for secondary schools. Taking part schools form their own flying club. They run three main activities meant to spark interest among young people aged 14 to 17.

The website lists the programs, entry details and the college's approvals. It also shows how to apply and how to contact the admissions team.
