Innovaviation

Innovaviation is an Italian maker of sport aircraft. It is based in Corropoli, in the province of Teramo. The company was founded in 2001 by Alfredo Di Cesare, an aircraft designer with over 35 years of experience in the sport-plane industry. Its current model is the FX1.

Di Cesare began his aviation career in the early 1980s. He imported and built kits of the Striplin aircraft from the United States. In 1988 he became the importer of the Ikarus C22, a light sport plane from Germany.

In 1991 he designed, built and certified the JetFox 91. It was certified in Italy, Germany and France. Close to 160 units were sold, and most still fly. In 1997 he introduced a redesigned JetFox 97, certified in Italy, Germany, France and Israel. Close to 180 were built by his company Euroala. They fly in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and North America.

An upgraded JetFox GT came in 2005. In 2006 an amphibian prototype was shown in Europe, the United States and Asia. The site calls the FX1 his newest design. It has a new airframe with many refinements and was built with modern methods and materials.

The company says it has a team of experts in aeronautical engineering, production and marketing. They design, build and deliver advanced sport planes. The firm says its quality management system is built to meet high standards for its category.

The site presents the FX1 as a plane built to rank among the top sport planes on the market. It uses the line that experience, born from passion, ensures quality. Pages show a gallery, a section called FX1 in the world and a page on certifications.
