Indiana Aerospace University

Indiana Aerospace University (IAU) is a school in Lapulapu City, Cebu, in the Philippines. It began as the Indiana School of Aeronautics, offering only airline related courses, and was founded by Dr. Jovenal B. Toring. It was later renamed Indiana Aerospace University and moved in 2000 to 2001 to a 15 hectare campus. It now also runs basic education from preschool to senior high school.

Aviation programs

• Bachelor of Science in Aviation Technology, Major in Flying, aligned with CAAP standards under the Philippine Civil Air Regulations
• Bachelor of Science in Aircraft Maintenance Technology, with training in cooperation with Aplus Technical Training Center
• Aerospace Engineering, Airline Management and Bachelor of Science in Avionics Technology
• Non degree pilot training and a Flight Operations Officer (flight dispatcher) program

Facilities

The campus lists a flight training facility, flight simulators, an aircraft lab for hybrid STEM, computer and science laboratories and a chapel. The flight operations base is the IAU Aerodome at Ormoc Airport, Ormoc City, Leyte.
