Hylio

Hylio designs, manufactures and sells agricultural drone systems. The company is based in Richmond, Texas, in the Houston area. The site says it provides drones for crop applications, wetland and forestry management and vector control.

The drone range includes the Pegasus, Ares, Atlas and Photon models. The site lists capacities of 2.5 and 4 gallons for the Pegasus, 13 and 20 gallons for the Ares, and 30 and 45 gallons for the Atlas. It lists the Photon as a scout drone.

The site says the drones have GroundLink control, quick-swap nozzle types, HD FPV video, a three-axis gimbal, RTK-enabled GPS, 360-degree obstacle avoidance and a modular liquid or solid payload. It says the systems have swarming capability and are NDAA-compliant.

AgroSol is Hylio's ground control software. The site says it handles planning, treating and reporting. Flight and application data is stored in an AgroSol account, and as-applied maps can be exported for billing and compliance.

The company also sells accessories. These include granular spreaders in 2.5, 5 and 18 gallon sizes, RTK units, a GroundLink controller, spare parts, GPS trackers, toolkits, batteries and chargers. The site says the spreader can be programmed for autonomous application in AgroSol.

The site says the drones are designed and manufactured at the Texas headquarters with US and globally sourced components. It says the company writes its software in-house. It also says its systems have treated hundreds of thousands of acres around the world.

The site offers financing, a build-your-drone option, a distributor locator and a dealer application. The sales phone number is +1-832-219-6778. The support section includes an FAQ, FAA licensing information, insurance information and an NDAA compliance page.
