Hradecká Letecká Servisní s.r.o. (HLS)

Hradecká Letecká Servisní s.r.o. (HLS) is an aircraft maintenance company at Hradec Králové airport in the Czech Republic. Vlastimil Novák and Aleš Kurka founded it in 2008 as a light aircraft service shop. HLS added Cirrus aircraft to its approvals in 2011 and became a Cirrus authorized service center in 2015, the second in the Czech Republic.

About the company

HLS holds a Part 145 approval. It added the Piper Meridian in 2010, the Daher TBM in 2018 and Bristell aircraft in 2022, and became a Daher TBM authorized service center in 2022. The company built its own hangar at Hradec Králové in 2019 and moved its base and headquarters there in 2020. Since 2011 it has completed more than a thousand work orders on Cirrus aircraft. A related company, HLS Aircraft Sales s.r.o., sells new TBM aircraft in the Czech and Slovak Republics.

HLS has its own avionics staff and test equipment for IFR, transponder, pitot and altimeter checks, and performs software upgrades on Garmin G1000, G1000 NXi, G2000 and G3000 systems.

FBO and facilities

The heated hangar takes aircraft up to about 12 tonnes, 23.6 m wingspan and 6.0 m height, and offers parking with 24 hour camera monitoring. HLS also sells TBM and Cirrus parts and offers continuing airworthiness management.
