About Hextronics

Hextronics makes Eclipse, an automated drone system that works from a dock. The site describes the dock, the aircraft and the software as one integrated system. The page does not state where the company is based.

The aircraft can launch in under 20 seconds, fly an automated mission, return to the dock and recharge. It is then ready for the next mission. Teams can schedule recurring inspections and patrols, or launch the drone on demand. The aircraft flies the mission, sends live data and lands at the station on its own. Staff manage the work from afar through a software tool called HexAIR, so no pilot needs to be on site.

The site shows four settings for the system. In a solar field, the drone combines radiometric thermal and visual sensors to scan solar arrays for faults. For rail and roadside, it works across several sites and gives wide awareness along with longer inspections. For oil and gas, the dock has built-in heating and cooling that keeps the inside temperature steady in harsh weather. For urban rooftops, the compact dock can be installed anywhere with power and a connection, and it gives remote response by day or night.

The camera payload is called Trinity. It is a three-axis stabilized unit with wide and telephoto cameras. Buyers choose between radiometric thermal and low-light sensors. The model names are Trinity V and Trinity T.

The website has a careers page. It does not list a contact form or an address.
