HeliSpirit

HeliSpirit is a helicopter tourism and charter company with its head office at Kununurra Airport in the East Kimberley, Western Australia. It flies scenic flights and commercial helicopter work across the Kimberley, Pilbara, Katherine and Esperance regions. The business traces its history to 1984, when its founders pioneered scenic helicopter flights over the Bungle Bungle Range. Formerly Heliwork WA, it was bought in 2014 by Michael McConachy and Geoff Hamilton and renamed HeliSpirit; in 2016 they also bought the aeroplane operator Aviair.

Fleet

The fleet of about 25 helicopters includes the Airbus H125 (AS350 B3) Squirrel, Bell LongRanger, Bell 206B JetRanger, Robinson R66, Robinson R44 and Robinson R22. Most aircraft carry Spidertracks S3 units for real time tracking and emergency alerts. The fleet is maintained in-house at Kununurra Airport.
