HELIFARM PTY LTD

Helifarm is a South Australian helicopter company that says it has operated for over 25 years. Founder Tim Anderson started the business with aerial spraying and spreading in south east South Australia. It now offers air transport and 18 types of aerial work to government departments, private companies, NGOs, Traditional Owners, land managers and farmers across central and southern Australia.

Helifarm owns and operates seven helicopters:

• Three AS350 Squirrels, including one B2
• One Bell 206 Long Ranger
• One Bell 206 Jet Ranger
• Two Robinson R44s

The site states that all aircraft are approved for air transport and aerial work, are insured, and are maintained under a CASA approved System of Maintenance.

Bases and coverage

The main base is Naracoorte in south east South Australia, with further bases at Mount Gambier and Ceduna. The company reports work in South Australia, Western Australia, the Northern Territory, Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.
