Heliconia

Heliconia is a helicopter operator headquartered in Casablanca. It works in the rotary-wing sector across Africa and flies for clients who need an aircraft to get a job done.

Missions it flies

The company runs a separate service line for each type of work:

• Passenger transport: crew transfers to offshore locations.
• Search and rescue: fast response and medical evacuation.
• Emergency medical services: urgent transport for patients who need critical care.
• Technical support: maintenance and support that keep a helicopter fleet safe and ready to fly.
• Powerline maintenance: aerial work for utility networks.
• Geophysical surveying: data collection for research.
• Filming and sporting events: aerial camera work for live events.

VIP and leisure flights

Heliconia also flies private passengers. Its list includes VIP transfers, sightseeing flights, excursions and heliskiing.

Growing in Ghana

The group is building a base outside Morocco. Heliconia EAS has secured an Air Operator Certificate in Ghana. HEAS Ghana has also won a five year contract with Tullow Oil.
