GSL Aviation

GSL Aviation is a Cairns based aircraft operator running daily scenic flights over the Great Barrier Reef from Cairns International Airport, together with private charter across North Queensland and the Whitsundays. Its charter work reaches as far as the Torres Strait and the Gulf of Carpentaria and covers government, corporate and tourism clients. The company runs its own passenger terminal at Cairns Airport.

Fleet

• Cessna 206: up to 5 passengers, flown by GSL since 2011 on floats and wheels; rear doors can be removed for photography and filming
• GippsAero GA8 Airvan: up to 7 passengers, Australian built, fitted with a cargo pod for island hops and freight
• Cessna Grand Caravan: turboprop seating up to 13 passengers, with a rear cargo door for palletised freight
