GMF AeroAsia

PT Garuda Maintenance Facility Aero Asia Tbk, known as GMF AeroAsia or GMF, is part of the Garuda Indonesia Group and based at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport near Jakarta. The company describes itself as the largest MRO company in Indonesia and has a stated vision of becoming a top 10 MRO in the world.

Component services

GMF provides integrated component services and single component services, covering Boeing 737, 747 and 777, Airbus A320 and A330 and CRJ1000 aircraft.

• Integrated component services such as pooling and repair management
• Loan and exchange, component reliability review programs and warranty management
• In-house capability in avionics, electromechanical components, wheels and brakes and landing gear, plus NDT and calibration
• Testing equipment including hydrostatic test and IDG test stands
• Accredited by the Komite Akreditasi Nasional for testing and calibration laboratories

Other services

• Power Services: repair, modification and overhaul of industrial and aeroderivative gas turbine engines, set up in 2006, with generator, transformer and motor rewinding
• Learning Services: approved by the Indonesian DGCA as an aircraft maintenance training organization, with CASR 147 certification, EASA 147 approval for the Boeing type and Airbus Competence Training simulators
• Defense work, including C-130 modernization projects and Falcon 8X maintenance for the Indonesian Air Force under the FalconCare program through 2029
