FLYT Aviation Ltd, trading as FLYT, is a London based helicopter charter company that lets customers request a quote and book a helicopter through an online and mobile platform. Its founders, Andy King and James Palmer, set it up because there was no simple way to get a quote and book a helicopter as with other forms of travel.

How it works

Booking takes three steps: tell FLYT the destination, date and number of passengers, receive flight and cost options from the team, then choose one and receive the details. The company says its Go Now helicopters can fly with as little as an hour of notice, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Aircraft and crews

FLYT states that its charters are carried out only in twin-engine helicopters flown by approved operators with experienced crews, with the option of two pilots on longer trips. Its site has an Aircraft section for fleet information.
