About Flylogix

Flylogix flies long-range unmanned aircraft for the energy sector and other remote operations. It is based at Merlin House, 4 Meteor Way, Lee-on-Solent, Fareham, UK. Its aircraft measure methane emissions offshore, monitor the environment around wind farms, support search and rescue, and deliver to remote places, with no people offshore.

Services

  • Methane: measuring methane emissions at offshore platforms, with real-time detection and about 1/50th of the CO2 emissions of a crewed aircraft
  • Wind: environmental monitoring for offshore wind, flying low for high-resolution data with little disturbance
  • Emergency: search and rescue and spill response, with live links to rescue teams
  • Logistics: remote delivery to places that were hard to reach before

How it works

Flylogix combines artificial intelligence, satellite communication and low-cost electronics in small, efficient unmanned aircraft. The aircraft are flown beyond visual line of sight under satellite command and control. The UK Civil Aviation Authority oversees its operations.
