About Flight Training London

Flight Training London is a flying school at Elstree Aerodrome in Hertfordshire, England. The school started in 2012. It teaches private pilots and also those who want to fly for a living. The address is Hogg Lane, Elstree, WD6 3AW.

The site says co-founder Ivan Kurbanov opened a small school offering one-to-one instruction during a hard time for the industry. It grew as word spread. Ivan began his career as an instructor and served as Deputy Chief Flying Instructor at Panshanger Aerodrome. He now leads the school as Chief Flying Instructor and Examiner and has more than 12,000 hours of instruction. His partner Tamsyn brings a background in design, marketing and community building.

The school describes itself as a friendly flying community. Some students aim to become airline pilots. Others learn for the love of flying. The training is flexible, so students can move fast or learn at a steadier pace around work, study or family.

The training page lists many courses. They include the Commercial Pilot Licence, Private Pilot Licence, National Private Pilot Licence, Night Rating and the UK-only IMC Rating. It also lists Instrument Rating courses, Multi-Engine Piston Rating, the Flight Instructor Course, licence conversions, renewals and revalidations, and ground school. There is also a co-pilot course for leisure flyers and differences training.

The school says it operates seven days a week. Gift vouchers are available. Visitors can use the contact form or call 020 30 05 32 76.
