Flight Time Building, LLC

Flight Time Building, LLC rents training aircraft to pilots who need flight time. It is at Massey Ranch Airpark, identified as X50, in Edgewater, Florida. The address is 735 S Airpark Road, Suite A-4. The company was established in 2008. It says it provides quality aircraft at low hourly rates for building flight time for ratings, ATP minimums or personal flying.

The company works on a time building model. It reserves aircraft ahead of time and issues them to time builders. It does not sell blocks smaller than 50 hours and will sell any block up to and above 1,000 hours. The site says the company aims for a full completion and satisfaction rate. Published rates are on the website. Larger blocks, above 500 hours, may get extra price breaks.

FAA licensed pilots can self qualify without a check flight, though a familiarization flight can be arranged. Aircraft are dispatched after the pilot gets renters insurance, which the site lists at $93 per month. Time builders must fly at least 6 hours per day, or about 42 hours per week. The site says there is no published daily maximum, but safety is said to be the main concern.

Foreign pilots get help with verification and with obtaining an FAA private pilot certificate. Aircraft are dispatched after the FAA certificate is received, renters insurance is in place and a bi-annual review is complete. The site says most time builders need 100 to 150 hours. A 150 hour block in a Cessna 152 takes about 4 weeks and costs about US$11,500, including aircraft, fuel and oil. Accommodation, transport and meals are extra.

The company arranges accommodation and transport when available. Prospects who were referred by a past customer can name that customer and country on the form. The phone number is 1-386-235-6226. The site also lists WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.
