Flame Enterprises

Flame Enterprises is a stocking distributor of electro-mechanical parts. It sells to military and aerospace customers. The company was founded in 1969. Its idea was to keep a ready stock of parts for customers who were held up by long factory lead times.

The site says it focuses on relays, relay sockets, circuit breakers, switches and indicators. It has supplied relays to the military and aerospace market for over 50 years. The company describes itself as one of the largest stocking distributors in its field. It keeps its stock matched to what customers need.

Its supplier list is long. Relays and contactors come from makers such as Safran Power USA, TE and Guardian Electric. Circuit breakers come from Sensata Technologies and Safran Power USA. High voltage contactors come from TE Kilovac, Altran Magnetics, Rincon Power and Nominal Controls. Indicators and lamps come from L3Harris and Marl International, among others.

Other lines include switches, illuminated pushbuttons, relay sockets, terminal junction modules, splices, terminal blocks and bus bars. The company also stocks battery receptacles, bulkhead connectors, elapsed time meters, counters and switch accessories.

The company says it manages the product needs and certification rules of the commercial aerospace market. It keeps stock for both production and aftermarket use. It has also worked with defense manufacturers and their subcontractors since it began. The site says the purchasing team has an average of 30 years in the industry.

Flame Enterprises also serves newer fields. For young firms that need parts during design work, it says it carries the inventory load while they grow. Renewable energy storage systems use its high voltage contactors and battery interconnect parts. It also lists electric specialty trucks and farm and construction machines as markets.

The website has line cards that show the brands it carries. Visitors can use it to find product lists and to contact the sales team.
