Estilo Aereo

Estilo Aereo is a Chilean company that provides complete upholstery services for aircraft interiors. It was set up to give operators a professional and responsible alternative in aircraft upholstery. The company is based in an office in Providencia, Santiago, and it says its upholsterer has more than 15 years of experience in aviation work. Work can be carried out in its shop, or in the field after agreement with the customer, including transport of its machines when the job needs it.

Materials and certification

The company works with national and imported materials certified to FAR 25.853 and FAR 23.853. National materials can be given a fire retardant treatment before certification, as an alternative for operators.

How the work is run

Its procedures follow those of an aircraft maintenance center. A work order is created for each job, with a reception and delivery sheet, and forms with copies of each certificate showing compliance with the FAR standard. The company says that clear communication and good coordination of time are important to it.
