ESPEC North America

ESPEC North America is a manufacturer of environmental test chambers and accelerated reliability testing equipment based in Hudsonville, Michigan, part of the ESPEC Group, which also has manufacturing in Japan, Korea and China and sales and service around the world. Its Hudsonville plant operates a quality management system certified to ISO 9001:2015 by Intertek, and the company also holds ISO 17025 accreditation. Qualmark, the HALT and HASS testing brand, is now an ESPEC North America product line with a test lab in the Denver area at Aurora, Colorado.

Test chambers

• Benchtop and reach-in chambers for temperature-only or temperature and humidity testing, with ranges as wide as -85 to 180 degrees C and five series from 8 to 60 cubic feet, including the Platinous line
• Global-N temperature cycling chambers with rates of 5, 10, 15 or 20 degrees C per minute and a new 30 degrees C per minute model, plus thermal shock chambers and extreme thermal cycling to 100 degrees C per minute
• Standard and custom walk-in and drive-in chambers, industrial ovens to 700 degrees C from 4 to 32 cubic feet and the TSE-12 chamber that needs only electricity
• Altitude and vacuum chambers, battery charge and discharge chambers, highly accelerated stress test chambers, settling dust chambers and rain, car wash and salt spray simulation

HALT and HASS

• HALT tables from 1.5 to 8 square feet with change rates up to 70 degrees C per minute, a tabletop repetitive-shock unit, non-nitrogen HALT chambers that cut costs and the QFusion high-volume HASS system with six tables in one chamber
• Refurbished HALT equipment, control system and actuator upgrades for most brands, custom HALT fixtures and consulting and training from HALT professionals

Services

• Quick-ship models in stock for shipment in as little as two days and short-term rentals of three months to a year
• Chamber Care plans with annual preventive maintenance, Web Controller upgrades for remote access and semiconductor test and evaluation
• The ESPEC Solutions Group, Applications, Skills and Knowledge (ASK) test lab and consulting, and a separate training group offering seminars and webinars on reliability testing
