About Epinion

Epinion is a research and insight firm with Danish roots. It was founded in 2000. Its main goal is to give people a voice and to draw deep insight about citizens and consumers from sound methods. The firm has grown steadily in projects, customers and staff. It now has more than 250 people around the world and a list of strategic partners.

The company mixes two kinds of information. One is large sets of numbers. The other is detailed stories about what people think and need. The firm says numbers need stories, and stories need numbers. It studies behaviors, opinions, beliefs and needs that people may not know they have. Its CEO is Berit Didriksen.

Epinion serves many sectors. The contact form lets visitors pick a topic such as the aviation sector, transportation and mobility, public affairs, tourism, data science or data visualization. Aviation therefore sits beside several other fields on the site.

Some projects show the work for transport and airports. One case helped Bornholm Airport keep regional air routes viable as costs rise. The airport worked with the Traffic Contact Council. Another article asks how price shapes the transport choices of young people. A further piece says public transport has become more complex, and asks whether measurement methods kept up.

A passenger experience article is on the list too. It argues that a smooth flow matters more than a single wow moment. Other topics on the site show the range of the firm. These include counterfeit goods bought by young people, the views of residents on events in Copenhagen, and the method behind political polls. The firm also shares practical advice. One article gives five tips for running online focus groups. Another says crises have gone digital while understanding of children is still analog.

The company calls its staff sense-makers. It says it values a diverse team and a creative, relaxed working place. It tries to bring different world views into problem solving.

The website holds more case studies and a contact form for questions.
