EMW Aviation (East Meets West Aviation Group)

EMW Aviation Solutions is the North American office of East Meets West Aviation Group, which states that it was established in 2005 and has a presence in five countries. The group headquarters is at Sharjah International Airport in the United Arab Emirates. The Katy, Texas site, at 2409 Katy Fort Bend Rd in the Houston area, houses its aircraft spare parts distribution. The group describes itself as a global aviation solutions provider supporting clients across North America, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific.

Parts supplied

From the Katy facility the group says it holds and distributes engines, APUs, avionics, landing gear, flight control surfaces and consumables for operators, MROs and lessors. It runs an AOG support desk with a 24/7 logistics team and uses Houston air and seaport freight routes for shipments in the United States and abroad.

• Aircraft and engine sales, leasing and asset management: ACMI and dry leasing, sale-leaseback structuring, direct sales and trading, and asset lifecycle planning
• Aircraft chartering: on-demand cargo charters including AOG shipments, oversized cargo, e-commerce freight and humanitarian and disaster relief flights, with B747F, B777F and B767F aircraft named
• MRO services: line maintenance, base maintenance coordinated through a partner network, aircraft storage and reactivation, and overhaul management for engines, landing gear, APUs and components
• Engineering and CAMO support, including maintenance schedules, technical documentation and compliance audits
• Private jet charter, trip support and ground handling

Certifications

The group says it is expanding its in-house maintenance certifications, with EASA Part 145 and an FAA Part 145 component shop described on its MRO page as in progress. Its ISO 9001:2015 quality registration is reported in the ASA FAA AC 00-56B accreditation database.
