About Emirates Engineering

Emirates Engineering is the aircraft maintenance and engineering organization that supports the Emirates fleet. It describes itself as one of the most technologically advanced aircraft maintenance facilities in the world.

It supports the world's largest fleet of Airbus and Boeing aircraft operated by Emirates. It also supports the fleets of thirty other airlines through third party maintenance contracts.

Line maintenance provides technical support for aircraft and engines, plus cabin maintenance and refurbishment. The team works 24 hours a day, seven days a week, at the Dubai facility and at its network of outstations.

Base maintenance covers routine scheduled tasks and unscheduled major repairs, replacements, and modifications. Overhaul workshops test, repair, modify, and overhaul a range of components.

The engine maintenance center services more than 300 Emirates engines. The engine test cell is one of around twelve such facilities in the world and the largest of its kind in the Middle East.

The aircraft appearance center has a paint hangar, a paint workshop, and a graphics and decal shop. Engineering support covers materials management, aircraft procurement, projects, training, technical services, planning and IT systems, and facilities.

Compliance monitoring covers the compliance department, engineering, regulatory affairs, and certification. The company offers engineering training courses. Its EASA 145 station is at Dubai International Airport.
