Elitellina S.r.l.

Elitellina S.r.l. is an Italian helicopter company based in the Valtellina area, province of Sondrio. It has been operating since 1977, initially created to provide helicopter transport services between the valley floor and the surrounding mountainous regions. Over the years, Elitellina has expanded its operations to cover the entire Italian territory, much of Europe, and even South America.

The company is part of the Pegasus Aero Group, an international aeronautical group with over 50 years of history. In 2017, Elitellina further grew by acquiring Eliwork S.r.l., another local helicopter company, strengthening its presence and capabilities.

Elitellina offers a wide range of helicopter services. Their aerial work includes material transport, alpine pasture supply, precision positioning, assembly of pylons and cable systems, cable stringing, surveys and searches, timber extraction, and photo and video shooting. They also provide special services such as artificial avalanche release, civil protection support, avalanche victim search, firefighting, and geophysical and seismic surveys.

For passenger transport, Elitellina offers private helicopter transfers, sightseeing tours, elifishing, heliski, elibike, and parachute drops. Their services cater to both local mountainous areas and destinations beyond, emphasizing safety, rapid response, and quality.

The fleet mainly consists of AS350B3 Ecureuil helicopters. They operate a total of 15 helicopters configured to meet various job requirements. These helicopters accommodate five or six passengers plus the pilot, have a flight endurance of approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes, a maximum speed of 287 km/h, and a service ceiling of 7,010 meters (23,000 feet).

Elitellina has two main bases: one in Talamona and another in Gordona, both in the province of Sondrio. Each base provides customs services on request. The company operates a safety management system and is a member of the Flight Safety Foundation and the International Airborne Geophysics Safety Association.

The company holds ISO 9001:2015 quality certification, ISO 14001:2015 environmental certification, and ISO 45001 occupational health and safety certification. It undergoes external audits following BARS, IOGP, and Rio Tinto geophysical survey standards, supporting its commitment to safety and quality in its operations.
