Drone Destination

Drone Destination is a drone company in India. It describes itself as a DGCA-authorized drone company. Its website says it offers certified pilot training, drone services, precision agriculture, aerial survey and mapping, inspection, surveillance, a drone shop, drone soccer and business kickstarter programs. The site shows a notice that it is still under development, so some content may change.

Drone training is one of its main areas. The site lists a DGCA certified Small Rotorcraft Remote Pilot Course. Training is offered online, offline or as a mix of both. The listed locations include Doddaballapur in Bengaluru, Manesar and Gurugram. Course fees on the home page start from 55,000 rupees.

The company sells drone work as a managed service. The site calls this Drone as a Service and says operations run from start to finish and can be used on demand. The listed capabilities are survey and mapping with GIS, inspection of infrastructure, utilities and industrial assets, and aerial surveillance for security and border management. It also lists ground truthing, which checks remote sensing data against the real ground.

In farming, the company runs agricultural drone spraying and crop monitoring. It describes its spray network as the largest in India. Large scale mapping is used to target spraying and cut waste. The site also lists farm inputs made for drone spraying.

The site names four platforms. STAREDGE is an industrial electric rotorcraft. AGRISTAR 2.1 is a medium class drone for spraying crops. DD-500 is built for survey, mapping, surveillance and inspection. SKYMASTER is a platform designed in India by Hubblefly Technologies. Three of these are marked as DGCA type certified.

The Drone Hub is the company's shop. It sells educational drones, industrial drones, spares and parts, batteries and consumables, and tools and equipment. The company also promotes drone soccer, which it calls a hybrid esport and a way to learn science and technology. It helps schools set up arenas and sells equipment and training. Its kickstarter programs help people start a drone training school, a centre of excellence or a drone soccer business.
