CTRM Aero Composites

CTRM Aero Composites is a Malaysian maker of aircraft composite structures. The company is formally called CTRM Holdings Sdn. Bhd. and was once named Composites Technology Research Malaysia. Its head office is in Batu Berendam, Melaka.

CTRM was founded in 1990. It started by building the Eagle 150B, a two seater composite light aircraft. Since then it has grown into a maker and assembler of composite parts for aerospace customers. Its products include aircraft wings, nacelles, empennage and doors. The site says it has worked with aircraft makers and Tier 1 companies on more than 14 commercial aircraft models.

The home page says CTRM is a single source supplier and centre of excellence for wing and nacelle programmes. It manages 23 programmes across 14 aircraft models and one helicopter. Its core expertise is listed as aerostructures and a testing laboratory. The company is working on digital transformation and automation.

CTRM is a subsidiary of DRB-HICOM Berhad. In August 2025 it signed an agreement to buy Spirit AeroSystems Malaysia, and the profile page says the acquisition took place in December 2025. In July 2026 it won the Asia award at the Aero Excellence 2026 Awards. In 2024 it received the Prime Minister Award in the national industry excellence awards.

The company holds certification in an aerospace quality management system and in Nadcap. It runs a supplier programme, including a Supplier Excellence Award event held in 2024, with winners from the United States, Germany, Singapore and Malaysia. A careers page and phone numbers are listed.
