Cruiser Aircraft

Cruiser Aircraft designs and builds light sport aircraft. Its head office and main production site are in Kunovice, in the Czech Republic. The company belongs to Czech Aircraft Group s.r.o. It says it builds on more than 80 years of aircraft design and making in the Czech region of Moravia.

The company focuses on two seat, all metal light sport aircraft. A main model is the PS-28 Cruiser. The site says more than 670 aircraft are flying in 30 countries. It says the airframe is certified for 11,000 flight hours, which it describes as almost double the usual figure for light sport aircraft. It lists direct operating costs per flight hour, with different figures for AVGAS and MOGAS fuel.

Cruiser Aircraft does the whole process in house, from research and design to making and final assembly. It holds EASA Part 21 design and production organization approvals. Its aircraft are EASA certified light sport aircraft, and they are sold in the S-LSA category in the United States. Its design tools include CATIA and ENOVIA, 3D printing and 3D scanning. Its production work includes CNC cutting, machining, welding, riveting and painting.

The aircraft are used for basic and advanced flight training, time building, basic military pilot training and leisure flying.
