Command Aviation

Command Aviation is a flight training provider in South Australia operating from Aldinga, Adelaide, Murray Bridge and Goolwa airports. Its website describes real world training for pilots who fly their own aircraft: all CASA Part 61 training, with customised courses for the private pilot licence, night VFR rating and private instrument rating for aircraft owners. The chief instructor named in student reviews is Michael Pullman. Its pricing page lists a separate Cirrus training instructor rate, and the school is looking for SR20 and SR22 owners willing to place their aircraft with the school for dual only flying with an instructor.

Locations

Aldinga Airfield is a general aviation airfield south of Adelaide on the Fleurieu Peninsula; the school also meets pilots at Adelaide Airport, Murray Bridge Airport and Goolwa Airport, which suits owners who keep their aircraft at those fields. Trial flights are one hour with a pre flight briefing, hands on flying time and an instructor.

From the pricing page in October 2026 (Australian dollars): trial flight $499; private pilot licence programme with your own aircraft $11,250; private instrument rating with your own aircraft $6,900; instructor rates of $225 per hour for VFR training, $245 per hour for IFR training and $265 per hour for Cirrus training.
