Civil Aviation Academy

Civil Aviation Academy Australasia Pty Ltd is an aviation training and consultancy firm. The site says it was established in 2001. It is based in Western Australia, and its postal address is in Subiaco. The company says it serves clients across Australia and in other countries.

The site lists dangerous goods awareness training, safe transport of infectious substances, crew resource management and IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations with shipping labels. It also lists dangerous goods shippers training. The site says the courses are approved by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) and meet IATA requirements.

The site says the facilitators are aviation professionals with commercial and airline transport pilot licence experience. The company hand marks every course assessment and gives personal feedback. Its courses do not need ongoing internet access, which suits remote operators.

After the COVID-19 pandemic, the company moved its training to web-based formats. The site says courses are available 24 hours a day through its order system. It also lists webinars where participants can speak with their course facilitator.

The site lists consultancy services for company-specific compliance solutions and operations manual development. It says the consultancy grew after CASA legislative changes in December 2021. The site says these services help operators rebuild their operations and keep up with industry standards.

Testimonials on the site come from a helicopter operator, a cargo airline and a helicopter rescue service. The site also quotes a training manager who uses the courses for online learning and testing of pilots.

The site gives the phone number (08) 6180 7939 and the postal address PO Box 584, Subiaco WA 6904. Office hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 15:00 Perth time. The site lists Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram as social channels.
