CFI C.A.R.E.

CFI C.A.R.E. is a publisher of FAA checkride study guides. It was founded in 2008 by Gary L. Kruger, a Gold Seal flight instructor with more than 60 years of aviation experience. The guides are sold through Apple Books.

The guides cover the Airman Certification Standards for private, instrument, commercial, flight instructor and ATP candidates. The site says the guides are built from official FAA source material. Each guide uses scenario questions and answers.

The guides link knowledge, risk management and skill elements to what an examiner checks on a practical test. The site says this helps stop study drift. The guides are designed for use on a phone, tablet or PC, with bookmarks, highlights and search.

The site offers a practical test checklist through Apple Books at no cost. No sign up or email is needed for it. Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple Books through the buyer's Apple ID.

The author holds an ATP certificate and several flight instructor ratings. These include Gold Seal CFI, CFII, MEI, AGI and IGI. He is also a CAX (ASES), a FAASTeam provider and a Texas State certified teacher and administrator.

The site describes the ACS Companion Series. The site says the series was created to remove study drift and help applicants pass their checkrides on the first attempt.

General inquiries go to an email contact on the contact page. The site says replies typically take 2 to 3 business days. The site has a Facebook page.
