About Central Florida CFI

Central Florida CFI is the flight instruction business of Chris Creegan, an independent instructor based at Orlando Executive Airport (KORL) in Orlando, Florida. He holds a Commercial Pilot certificate (airplane single and multi-engine land), CFI and CFII ratings, and high-performance and complex aircraft endorsements. He owns and flies a Cirrus SR22 hangared at Orlando Executive, with more than 300 hours in type, and trains pilots either in their own aircraft or in a provided Cirrus SR20 G6 based at Sheltair KORL.

Cirrus

Chris Creegan trains in Cirrus aircraft and names the Cirrus SR20, SR22 and SR22T, together with the Diamond DA40 and DA42, as his area of advanced specialization. For new Cirrus owners he provides transition training in the owner's own aircraft, covering the G1000 avionics suite, the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS) and high-performance operations, drawing on his own SR22 ownership. Pilots who do not yet own an aircraft can train in the provided Cirrus SR20 G6 at Sheltair Orlando Executive, whether toward a certificate or rating or to build time in a Cirrus before buying one. He also ferries Cirrus and Diamond aircraft and conducts training in the owner's airplane at airports throughout Florida.

Area served

Based at KORL, he primarily serves pilots throughout Central Florida, including Orlando, Winter Park, Lake Mary, Sanford, Kissimmee and the I-4 corridor, and is available for transition training and ferry flights at airports across the state. The site says enquiries are usually answered within 24 hours.
